Melanie will co-chair with Dr. Catherine Marcinkiewcz the symposium “Alcohol and the Serotonin System: Revisiting an Age-Old Problem from a Neural Circuits Perspective”. She will also present the lab’s ongoing work in a talk titled “Dorsal raphe and orbitofrontal cortical serotonin signaling in excessive alcohol intake”.

Pina Lab Graduate Student, Colin Johnston will present his latest research at RSA in the poster “Social dominance relates to ethanol-drinking behavior in socially housed mice”.
